Conventions
RIZIV
(Royal Institute for Illness and Invalidity Insurance)
All dentists at DENTAL CLINICS are registered with the national health service.
Thanks to this commitment, the patient is always guaranteed that the official RIZIV tariffs are used.
Persons entitled to increased insurance allowances (RVV), these forming the majority of our patients, will only have to make a small contribution to their health care costs in rare cases, such as in the case of radiology or removable artificial teeth.
NIC
(National Intermutualistic College)
All dentists at DENTAL CLINICS have entered into a contract with the NIC (National Intermutualistic College).
A contract with the NIC is required to join the RDB-system (Act on Third Party Payments) as provided for in the Royal Decree of 19th August 1992. By signing this contract the dentist is committing to apply the RDB-system in a linear manner under all legislated conditions.
OCMW
(Public Centre for Social Welfare)
Certain Public Centres for Social Welfare issue a medical card to their clients which offers the health professional the possibility to arrange payment directly with the OCMW of the person involved. With regard to such DENTAL CLINICS has a specific agreement with the OCMW of St-Jans-Molenbeek.
This method has its use in certain cases, for instance when the insurance of a patient is not in order due to an error and whereby a waiting period is applicable before the adjustment can take place.
